Dinesh Kanagaratnam is an Indian music producer, R&B and hip-hop artist who is predominantly in the Tamil film industry. He is a well-known celebrity in countries like Singapore, Malaysia, London, Canada, and Sri Lanka after his blockbuster hit song ‘Athichudi’, ‘Kuruvi’, ‘Suraangani’, “Magudi” and ‘Nagaraveytai’. He has also scored music along with his music partner Charles Bosco for the film ’18 Vayasu’ starring the ‘Renigunta’ fame Johnny directed by the R.Panneerselvam, produced by S.S Chakravarthy from NIC Arts. He is one of the contestants in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 (2022) which airs on Star Vijay TV.

Dinesh was born on 30 August 1980 in Badulla, Sri Lanka. He began his career by being a designer. He then pursues his career in the music world and got bashed up big time as a starter. He has launched three music albums so far since the year 2007. His First album was ‘Cross Culture’, and his second venture was his solo album named ‘Thamila’ in 2008 was a blockbuster in Sri Lanka. Dinesh Kanagaratnam collaborated with Charles Bosco and launched the album ‘SL2SG’ in Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Malaysia.

Aaryan Dinesh has collaborated with and featured famous music directors such as Vijay Antony for the song in 2008, for D.Imman for the song (Odi Polama) in 2009, and for Paul Jacobs for the song in 2009. Dinesh Kanagaratnam is the first Tamil rap artist to be featured in a Telugu movie done for the Tollywood market by music composer Bobo Shashi. At present, ADK collaborates with Sri Rascol and performs many independent albums. The latest updated song of them is “Pudhiya Era’. Both worked on the AR Rahman song Showkali and earned much critical fame for the song. ADK also works with Music Director Santhosh Narayanan.
