He started his acting career as a supporting role in Dibbana Tulu movie. He is well-known for featuring in movies like Govinda Govinda, Nishabda 2, Ammer Polisa. He made his fim debut as the main lead in 2015 with Ice Cream Tulu movie. Roopesh Shetty is one of the contestants in the Bigg Boss Kannada OTT reality show.
