Atlee Sen (Arun Kumar) is a popular Indian filmmaker and screenwriter, who mainly works in the Tamil film Industry. He is best known for his directorial debut Raja Rani (2013), he has won many awards for the same movie. He started his career by assisting legendary director Shankar in his films like Nanban and Enthiran. After a successful debut, the streak followed with successive ventures, Theri and Mersal as the latter was bankrolled by the Sri Thenandal Films. He made his Hindi directional debut in Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
