Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam is an Indian director. He started his career with short films and has directed many short films like critically acclaimed short film with Vinoothna Geetha Media, Anukokunda, and Sainma, a hit on YouTube channel. The Journey is his debut short film which was released in the year 2011. He is known for directing the critically acclaimed Telugu language romantic comedy film Pellichoopulu (2016), which won him the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu and Best Screenplay – Dialogues. He wrote the screenplay for the Zee5 web series, B. Tech which opened to positive reviews.
