Huma Qureshi is an Indian Film Actress and Model, who works in Hindi and Tamil films Industries. She has received Filmfare Award nominations for three times. She made her acting debut in the movie Gangs of Wasseypur in a supporting role. Her performance in the film earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and the Best Supporting Actress.  After working in several theatrical productions, she moved to Mumbai and signed a two-year contract with Hindustan Unilever to appear in television commercials.

She was born on 28 July 1986 in New Delhi, India. Her father, Saleem Qureshi, is a businessman, and her mother, Ameena Qureshi is a housewife. She has two elder brothers and one younger brother. Her elder brothers, Naeem Qureshi and Haseen Qureshi work in their family business, and her younger brother, Saqib Saleem Qureshi is a popular Indian actor. She completed her bachelor’s in History with Honours from the Gargi College, Delhi. She started her career as a model and later turned into acting.
