Ankita Sharma is an Indian police service officer known for becoming the first woman IPS from Chhattisgarh. Ankita cleared her UPSC exam on her third attempt in 2018. Ankita took an oath to eradicate Naxalites in her hometown. She completed her MBA degree in the fort of Durg.

At present, she serves as a Municipal Superintendent of Police (CSP) in Chhattisgarh. She considers Ajit Doval (national security adviser) as her role model. Ankita failed in first three attempts to pass civil service exam. However she did not gave up her hope and she passed finally. Before Ankita, there is no women became IPS officer in Chhattisgarh district.
